We’re always looking around the market to some very good 2k designs, we study and learn from its good places and then transform into our own abilities for the 2k product design, which is suitable for the 2 color mold fabrication!

As for the mold design, we pay more attention to some small details, for example, we drill holes for the mold legs on 4 sides of the mold, by this way, no matter customer want to stand-up which side of the mold, then no need to dis-assemble all the spare parts on the side of the mold, just exchange the mold legs, which is much more helpful for the customers!

There are three ways to manufacture the 2 component brush handles:

  • One is by overmolding, it will needs two molds injection, run by the normal single color injection machine.
  • Second is two color mold + shaft rotary two color machine
  • While the third is two color brush in mold rotary + normal two color machine.

As we all know the first one, so here let’s talk about the second & third ones!

If we go ahead with the second, then it needs the machine should be equipped with the shaft rotary structure! At the same time, needs double injection nozzles! Check below pics:

But the two color mold will be relatively easier than the third way! As by the third, will need the toothbrush in mold rotary, i.e. no need the machine have the shaft rotary structure (but sure needs double injection nozzles), it will complete the rotary in the mold.

Above all, by the second, the two color mold will be easier, but the machine is more complex; while by the third, the mold is much more complex, but the machine easier!!!

How to get the 100% anti-leakage bento box injection molded??

Here are two ways: one is as above picture showed, due to the bento box is PP+PP two color moulding design, also the lid is single color, so should have the TPE o-ring inside to ensure the box no leakage!

The other is to directly make the TPE seals together with the lid, for example as below picture showed!
