How to make the vegetable crate mold durable??
As we all know the key to achieve mold with excellent performance should be the steel quality and mold construction design! Firstly let’s focus on the crate mold construction!
In traditionally way, or even most mold makers here in Taizhou still do the design as following:
They make the 4 sliders outer, and drived by the hydraulic cylinder. It just like the core and cavity part are separately! But by this way, the product will be very easier to be scratched! In additionally, the mold itself also will be not strong at all! Then what we do:
We make the 4 sliders just inside, and will be drived by the 6 pulling hook! To make the mold base just completely one pcs, to greatly enhance the mold durable! Also as you can see from above pictures, on all places that might be worn easily, we put maximum wear plates with hardness HRC45 above, to ensure your side simply maintenance for future long term manufacturing! Also we add max. bearing plates to prolong the crate mold lifetime!!
We make the abundant cooling circuit directly to the product surface part, to greatly shorten the molding cycle time, realize your fast crate molding!
